We actually meet at the beach for breakfast together [actually slightly early lunch – you see time is irrelevant here]. Sash shares the bad news as FIFA have told him “huh, whatyoutalkinabout”.
Today we have 1 significant game to watch – Greece v Nigeria. I am kitted out in my Greek garb & I am planning to support with strong passion. We go to the same Cuban bar we were at last night. We had a good time yesterday so happy to do it again. We get pole position seats & settle in. Sash makes a good call & gets us in the mood by ordering something off the menu [Feta, Olives & Ciabata toasted with olive oil] – we are indulging in Greek appetisers again before the main dish – Nigeria on a platter.

With a one player advantage Greece dominate the remainder of the game with almost 30 shots at goal [to about 10]. The continued forward pressure [well done lads] pays off & we win the game 2-1. It is landmark day for Greek football at world cup level – our first goal, our first point, our first win – Zito Ellada [Life

Tonight we stay on Florida Street [the main street in Durban for
We finish the night watching the France v Mexico game at a place named Taco Zulu [basically restaurant/bar]. Once again the place
We are set to head to another place but things go a little pear-
